About the Book: The Green Potion

Morgan kicks the tree stump hard. Its hollow booming sound makes Little Fly laugh, so Morgan does it again.
“Would you be stopping that row, which is disturbing my foine afternoon rest” The boy and fly freeze in mid kick. The voice is coming from the stump! A wooden hatch is flung open and a round little bearded figure jumps onto the grass.
“Who are you?” gasps a pale Morgan.
“Leonard Patrick Clive Shawn at your service” says the small figure, bowing deeply. “You can call me LEP- RA- CAWN. I’m the wisest man in all Ireland."

Morgan and Little Fly are in Ireland on vacation. When Daddy gets ill, the friends go off to a nearby park so he can rest.

There they meet LEP-RA-CAWN, a 1,000 year old Irish legendary creature given to bragging and telling tall stories.

They tell him about Daddy and LEP-RA-CAWN explains about germs and viruses. He then gives them a special green potion in a jar for Daddy. They rush back and pour the liquid into a sleeping daddy’s mouth. Now the fun really begins……
